On Monday 26 June, 2017 I was truly honoured and delighted to join a small group of wedding suppliers who have big hearts and a passion for making dreams come true. As part of the dream team from My Wedding Wish, we gifted our services for Hayley and Trevor’s wedding day.
We celebrated their beautiful relationship, precious union and made a wish come true for two people who hold a special place in their hearts for each other.
My Wedding Wish gifts full weddings to special couples who are going through extreme health issues and its aim is to bring the local community together, to create magic for these couples. Their wedding was featured in the Gold Coast Bulletin and televised on Channel 7 that evening.
My Wedding Wish is a conduit for your local wedding community to come together. The businesses who are involved are Mums and Dads, small businesses, regular citizens just like you and I. We all donated our time, products, money and most of all we brought this wedding together with one huge heart. This was a gift from ‘your’ community. My Wedding Wish makes this happen many times every year around Australia.

These suppliers were involved for one reason, they wanted to create magic, create a wonderful memory for Hayley and Trevor and build precious memories for them with all of their loved ones. It was heart warming for me to know I was making a difference in a couple’s life.

Although the circumstances are always sad and emotional, I am very proud to support this wonderful national charity, My Wedding Wish where a team of wedding suppliers volunteer our services to gift weddings to terminally ill brides and grooms. I was honoured to perform a beautiful wedding for this lovely couple two weeks ago at Springfield Lakes, with the lake as their beautiful backdrop. They included a sand ceremony with their 5 children. It was a moving and memorable day.
